How I Came Up With The Idea Of Creating A Video Podcast: The Story Behind “I Am Ameshée” The Podcast

By Cynthia Gagné

I’m Cynthia Gagné, host of the “Je suis Ameshée” podcast. After having gone through the experience of having a sling implant and being free from it 4 years ago, I decided to dedicate part of my life to accompanying women on their similar journey. I’m now a fulfilled woman, in full control of my body, and I’ve chosen to help women who wish to make the same choice I did: to have their slings removed by the world’s most experienced surgeon, Dr. Veronikis.

For over 3 years, I’ve had the privilege of accompanying women every month on the same journey I’ve been on. In my podcast, “Je suis Ameshée”, I open the doors to hear the inspiring stories of women who have overcome the ordeal of implanting a sling or a vaginal prosthesis for prolapse. Each episode features a friendly discussion with courageous women who have gone through difficult times. They have generously agreed to share their stories from my couch in the Maison des Ameshées.

Together, we’ll explore the nuances of incontinence, the different methods and types of slings used, as well as aspects of prolapse, labiaplasty, adomonoplasty and much more. Immerse yourself in these authentic and profound stories, sharing the suffering experienced and the hopes born of it, in a spirit of understanding, listening and solidarity.

Don’t wait any longer, subscribe now so you don’t miss a single episode. Feel free to leave your comments and share the podcast if you enjoyed it.

Thank you for joining us on this adventure. Join us in the “I am Ameshée” podcast and together, let’s create a community of inspiration, hope and support for all the women who are victims of these implants.
